[job_card.job_description]Inspect trailers upon arrival and departure for compliance and condition. Maintain accurate logs of trailer locations and status. Scheduling & Coordination : Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams to align schedules. Documentation & Reporting : Prepare and maintain accurate records in Excel for reporting and tracking purposes. Equipment Operation : Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment as needed. Safety & Compliance : Ensure yard operations comply with DOT and company standards. High school diploma or equivalent. Computer Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform frequent walking. Forklift and pallet jack experience required. Previous yard experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This is a physical job, not a desk or sit-down position . Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Extended standing and walking throughout the shift.

- Trailer Management :
Coordinate and direct the movement of trailers in and out of the yard.
Schedule and monitor trailer arrivals and departures to ensure timely operations.
Use computer systems to update trailer status and yard inventory.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
