Job Description

Job Title : Legal Clerk / Admin

Type : Contract Assignment, possible extension

Start Date : asap

End Date : 3 / 21 / 26

Location : Burbank CA

Pay Rate : $35 / hour

Work Schedule : Hybrid role; In-Office days Mon.-Thurs., Fri. Remote

Overview - This is an admin support role for a legal department.

  • Tasks : handle incoming invoices / records, ad-hoc research
  • Must have experience with the MS Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to multitask is a quickly moving environment.

Job Tasks

  • Invoice Setup
  • Post invoices
  • Gather information for vendor setup forms
  • Research
  • Post Law Firm Memos
  • Pull / Order Articles, Cases
  • Monitor shared inbox
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Records handling
  • Conduct Quality Assurance of scanned physical documents against online scans
  • Order / Receive boxes
  • Prep boxes for scanning
  • Track Insider Brief timeline and gather content
  • Review Insider post drafts
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Thomson Reuters legal billing tool and SAP
  • Invoicing experience is a plus
  • Education - BA / BS pref.
  • Must have experience with the MS Suite, particularly Excel.
