ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Inspects in-process work finished products and / or purchased materials for conformance to specifications using basic inspection instruments and / or techniques. Performs 100% inspection for products (appearance dimension) as necessary.
• May provide performance test of completed product set or adjust and operate inspection equipment to ensure its accuracy.
• Inspects for dimensional accuracy process and quality operations to assure conformance to customer engineering and quality requirements.
• Participates on project teams to prevent or solve manufacturing or quality problems reduce cycle times cost increase efficiency or any other project as necessary.
• Prepares and processes inspection acceptance or rejection paperwork maintains records files and related documentation as necessary.
• Utilize effective communications and problem solving skills to foster an effective team environment which continually strives for safety quality organizational product productivity and improvements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee occasionally is required to stand; sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

This position works in a warehouse / production environment. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment.
