Pay Rate : $24 / hr

Contract Length : 12 Months

  • Role Summary :

    The Equity Operations Risk Analyst supports the North America and Global Risk teams by performing risk reviews, analyzing data, and enhancing the control environment. This role identifies process gaps, drives control improvements, manages incident reporting, and delivers key risk metrics and presentations for senior management. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, builds strong relationships to drive accountability, and helps shape risk strategies through proactive problem-solving and high-quality reporting.

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the North America Equity Operations Risk team and Global Risk Managers to perform risk reviews, conduct data analysis, and strengthen the control environment across multiple initiatives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance controls, streamline procedures, and eliminate manual processes.
  • Support line teams and oversee the migration of procedures to strategic locations by assessing potential risks and driving effective solutions.
  • Assist in preparing the monthly risk pack and other key management metrics for enhanced stakeholder transparency.
  • Respond to ad-hoc risk-related inquiries and project questions from line teams.
  • Contribute to senior management risk reporting, including data analysis, trend evaluation, exception tracking, and narrative commentary.
  • Manage incidents and action plans, ensuring proper documentation and follow-through.
  • Analyze operational errors to determine root causes, control breakdowns, impacts, and required preventive actions.
  • Recommend process improvements and guide line teams on incident management best practices.
  • Lead internal risk review calls with operational stakeholders.
  • Compile, analyze, and distribute daily / weekly reports and key deliverables.
  • Follow up with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and commitments.
  • Develop and analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and gather commentary from line managers to support performance insights.
  • Requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint , with the ability to present data clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to absorb and understand new information quickly .
  • Proven capability to build effective working relationships and hold stakeholders accountable to risk and control expectations.
  • Solid risk management and control mindset , with the ability to identify gaps and implement improvements.
  • Performance-driven, proactive, and confident in taking on challenges, setting priorities, and executing plans.
  • A dynamic self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills .
  • Ability to evaluate and identify risk areas across the organization and contribute to shaping risk management practices and project agendas.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational abilities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills , with confidence in engaging across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility across divisions, including Business Units, Operations, Finance, and Legal & Compliance.
