As a Restaurant Server for R & R Breakfast Spot responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and serving food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Greet Customers : Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take Orders : Accurately record food and beverage orders, clarifying any dietary restrictions or
preferences.
- Serve Food and Beverages : Deliver orders promptly and ensure that all items are presented attractively.
- Monitor Guest Experience : Check in with customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and
- address any needs or concerns.
- Handle Payments : Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including cash and credit
transactions.
- Maintain Cleanliness : Keep tables and serving areas clean, organized and assist with light cleaning duties as needed.
- Communicate with Kitchen Staff : Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely preparation of meals.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Manage multiple, concurrent and conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of customers and staff during your role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers and provide a positive
dining experience.
- Ability to accurately take orders and ensure correct delivery of food and beverages.
- Capable of managing multiple tables and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence in handling cash and processing payments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other servers.
Education and Experience :
- 1-3 years of fast paced restaurant experience
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
