About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery and Mother / Baby care. Strong experience with couplet care and Level III NICU preferred.

License : Valid state nursing license required.

Certifications : BLS and NRP required.

Must-Have : Strong Labor and Delivery skills.

Description :

Position requires experience in labor and postpartum care.

Candidates with Level 2 experience will be considered a plus.

The shift is 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM with a .9 FTE status.

Candidates must be comfortable with strong Labor and Delivery and Mother / Baby couplet care.

Experience in a Level III NICU setting is preferred.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Every third weekend is required.

On-call shifts may be necessary depending on unit needs.

Clients may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without any penalty.

On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours.

Candidates will float as needed within the facility.

A candidate’s travel radius should exceed 100 miles to meet eligibility requirements.

Pending licenses may be accepted.

Time off requests should ideally not exceed 5 days.

Work setting experience should include Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, Level 1 Nursery, LDRP, and Mother / Baby care.

The daily census typically includes 2 labors, 3-4 postpartum patients, and 0-2 Level 2 babies.

Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required.

Candidates must have the ability to perform various nursing skills including, but not limited to, infant assessments, care during labor, and postpartum care.

Travelers will receive a stipend for completing pre-start modules, with an average time investment of 8 hours.

All onsite modules are required and will be documented.
