Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Restoration Estimator to join our team. As a Restoration Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing and scoping residential and commercial restoration projects. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately estimate the extent of damage caused by disasters such as fires, floods, and other traumatic events. You will work closely with property owners, insurance professionals, and mitigation and project managers to ensure the successful completion of restoration projects. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in peoples lives by helping to restore their homes and businesses.

Responsibilities :

• Assess the extent of damage and develop detailed scopes of work for restoration projects with input from a Matterport video file, MICA mitigation report, and other photos and notes provided by the mitigation team and project managers.
• Conduct on-site inspections for large and complex jobs to supplement the Matterport / MICA file / Photos / Notes information.
• Accurately estimate the cost, materials, and labor required for each project and gain estimate approval from insurance adjusters (when necessary).
• Communicate and collaborate with property owners, insurance adjusters, and mitigation and project managers to establish project expectations and timelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance professionals and adjusters to facilitate smooth project coordination.
• Ensure that all necessary permits and documentation are obtained for each project.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that work is completed according to the agreed-upon scope and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify any estimate changes or additional work required, and communicate them promptly to all relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of project details, including estimates, change orders, and supplements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant regulations pertaining to restoration and estimating.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and customer satisfaction.
