Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and create personalized treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work in synergy with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercise protocols
• Keep detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Participate in collaborative care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to promote coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (such as in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred
