About the Opportunity

HireNow Staffing is seeking a Junior Attorney to join a leading personal injury law practice in Torrance, CA. This role is ideal for attorneys who are early in their careers and motivated to gain significant litigation and courtroom experience. Unlike traditional entry-level positions, this opportunity provides direct mentorship from senior trial attorneys , hands-on exposure to depositions, and trial preparation work from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Attorney will work directly under the supervision of seasoned trial lawyers while also managing aspects of their own caseload. Responsibilities include :

Drafting complaints, pleadings, discovery requests, and legal motions.

Handling discovery responses, evidence review, and case strategy preparation.

Taking and defending depositions under senior attorney oversight.

Assisting with motion practice, oral arguments, and pre-trial hearings.

Collaborating with supervising attorneys on trial preparation and courtroom presentation.

Conducting legal research and writing memoranda to support litigation strategy.

Communicating regularly with clients, providing updates, and maintaining case files.

Supervising or guiding support staff and paralegals when appropriate.

Candidate Profile Must-Haves

Licensed to practice law in California (active and in good standing).

0-5 years of attorney experience in personal injury litigation.

OR significant prior personal injury experience as a paralegal or legal secretary with current California Bar admission.

Strong communication, drafting, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage a small caseload independently while collaborating with supervising attorneys.

Commitment to full-time, on-site work in Torrance (no hybrid or remote option).
