As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. This primarily driving post requires you to conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 12 : 15 PM - 06 : 30 PM Sat 12 : 15 PM - 06 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Assist visitors and staff with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding incidents, maintenance issues, and / or potential hazards.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and / or inappropriate behavior on the premises.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
