Licensed Psychologist

We are looking for a Licensed Psychologist with expertise in neurocognitive testing to enhance the quality of care for our patients.
Position Overview
As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychological testing and assessment services to adults and the elderly in long-term care environments. Your efforts will contribute to precise diagnostics, cognitive evaluations, and actionable recommendations that drive effective treatment planning and care decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Psychological Testing & Assessment
- Administer standardized assessments including cognitive, emotional, and personality evaluations.
- Create integrated diagnostic reports that synthesize testing data and clinical interviews.
- Deliver clear, actionable recommendations for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Conduct assessments of cognitive capacity and functional impairment.
- Uphold ethical testing practices and professional assessment standards.
- Clinical Services
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and mental status assessments.
- Provide tailored individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex needs.
- Facilitate family therapy sessions and caregiver support.
- Lead group therapy sessions when appropriate.
- Offer behavioral management interventions to residents and facility staff.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with nursing staff, social workers, physicians, and rehabilitation teams.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to review care plans.
- Consult with facility leadership on behavioral strategies.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Timely documentation using our Geriatric Notes Tool (GNT).
- Maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to state laws and ethical guidelines.
- Partnership with Facilities
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with facility personnel.
- Exemplify professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
- Ensure strong communication for effective care delivery.
