Description - Your Role

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in specialties such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results meticulously for accuracy, resolve errors, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration for laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and properly prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document every procedure, aid in training new staff or students, and help maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation stipulations.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure here.
