$42.78 - $62.93 an hour - Full-Time Nights, 30 hours per week.
*Range includes night differential. +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit, where you will serve as a dedicated patient caregiver. Within our care delivery system, the RN will apply nursing theories, procedures, and standards to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care. Qualifications
Colorado RN license in good standing
BLS required by end of conditional period.
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
PCCN certification preferred.
One to two years RN clinical nursing experience preferred.
Six months to one-year Telemetry/Critical Care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
Interprets cardiac monitoring system strips as ordered by physician.
Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary patient care team to identify patient learning needs, develops and implements an individualized teaching plan.
