Part-Time Flexible Barista at TX0047 - Pearland MV

Pj's Coffee in Pearland, TX is looking for part-time baristas to work mainly on opening or closing full shifts (6 or 7 hours). Also expected to work through Spring Break and up coming holidays in the next 6 months. We are located on 12640 Broadway St #102. Our ideal candidate is an attentive, punctual, reliable and engaged. Speed of service and outgoing personality a must!

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers regularly and professionally
• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
• Learn and memorize recipes and processes. Complete periodic online training.
• Bake pastries and make sandwiches
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Maintain and clean equipment

Qualifications

• 18 Years or Older Preferred
• Dynamic and positive personality
• Speed and sense of urgency
• Good cash and transaction handling skills
• Punctual and Reliable
• Barista experience is Ok, but not required! You will be trained in the PJ’s ways of serving the best cup of coffee in Pearland!
• Strong verbal skills and the ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a strong desire to make our customers happy and to provide excellent service!
• Current Texas Food Handler's Certificate or must obtain one within one week of hire (we pay for this).
• Dependable transportation a must!
