The primary role of a Desktop Technician is to research, design, develop, and test computer equipment and peripherals for diverse applications including commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. This role encompasses overseeing the manufacturing and installation processes of computer-related components. You will stay updated with rapid advancements in computer technology to maintain proficiency.

In your first few weeks in this Desktop Technician role, you can expect to:

• Offer technical support to various departments (eg Designers, marketing, sales, engineers) throughout product development and implementation phases
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware and peripherals to ensure adherence to specifications and requirements, meticulously recording and analysing test data
• Continuously monitor equipment performance, implementing necessary modifications to ensure compliance with specifications

• At least 2 years of relevant customer service experience
• Proficiency in understanding circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software
