A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to enhance the security of its applications.
Key Responsibilities
Embed security best practices into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and provide secure coding guidance
Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews to identify risks and implement security controls
Implement and manage application security tools and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in application security and secure software development
Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with security testing tools and DevSecOps principles
Relevant certifications such as Certified DevSecOps Engineer or CISSP
