The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $17.50 to $18. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.

We are looking for full-time Dietary Cook for all shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Pre-assembles resident trays and carts as directed.
• Assists with food preparation and waits on residents at table in skilled dining.
• Attend menu conferences and plan food quantities to meet serving needs of the residents.
• Clean and wash small equipment.
• Supervise dietary aides, relief cook and afternoon cook.
• Ensures dining room is clean and transports dishes, trash etc. to appropriate area.
• Restocks all areas.
• Attends all mandatory in-service meetings.

Qualifications:

• Experience desirable, but not a requirement.
• Mentally alert.
• Ability to accurately measure food ingredients and portions.
• Knowledge of basic principles of quantity food cooking and equipment use.
• Clean and appropriately groomed.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
