Description - Your Essential Role
  • Conduct both routine and advanced tests across various areas including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy of your results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare them for testing.
  • Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, train new colleagues, and contribute to maintaining quality standards in the lab.
  • Keep the lab environment safe and clean, complying with all regulatory and accreditation measures.
Education
  • A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science certification (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire date.
  • Maintain current certification throughout your tenure with us.
