HVAC Technician

A leader in residential property management with facilities in Detroit, MI, is currently looking to hire several HVAC Technician for Long-Term opportunities with their growing company. The HVAC Technician hourly rates are anticipated to start between $30 to $33 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Qualified HVAC Technician will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• Valid State of Michigan Master Mechanical License
• At least 5 years’ experience working in HVAC.
• Understanding and knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Abilities including install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace heating and cooling units, and to perform a variety of tasks to assist with the renovation and repair of buildings, structures, and dwelling units by maintaining and repairing heating and cooling systems in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications..
• Ability to handle objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds and do frequent stooping, bending, lifting, and walking. The employee occasionally works in awkward positions, noisy and dirty areas, and uncomfortable weather conditions.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Able to pass standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
