Neonatology Opportunity in Syracuse, NYLocationSyracuse, NY Permanent PositionFull-time position with weekend rotation coveragePosition OverviewSeeking BC / BE Neonatologist to join a premier Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team in Syracuse, NY. The position includes coverage of the Newborn Nursery and responsibilities within a 57-bed NICU that admits approximately 1,000 critically ill and premature neonates annually, including those requiring ECMO.Practice Highlights 57-bed Level IV NICU with advanced neonatal services including ECMO Full-spectrum neonatal care for high-acuity patients Dedicated team of physicians and advanced practitioners Collaborative environment with multidisciplinary team support Onsite academic opportunities with medical students and residentsSchedule & Responsibilities Full-time schedule with weekend coverage as assigned Perform comprehensive physical examinations of newborns Evaluate and manage neonatal illnesses Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate care with primary providers and consultants Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teamsQualifications MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatology Valid New York State medical license or ability to obtain Clinical expertise in neonatal resuscitation and intensive care Strong interpersonal and communication skillsCompensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice coverage with tail CME allowance and professional development support Retirement plan with employer contribution
