Job description :
A newly created role for an experienced Director of Corporate Safety to lead safety performance across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations. This position will drive OSHA compliance, safety programs, incident reduction, standardization, and continuous improvement within metal fabrication, machining, stamping, and related industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead corporate safety strategy across multi-site manufacturing operations
Standardize safety programs, training, and reporting systems
Ensure OSHA compliance and drive corrective action implementation
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation
Build and develop a scalable safety team and site safety leads
Improve safety KPIs and culture across all levels of the organization
Partner with operations, HR, engineering, and plant leadership
Travel up to 30% to support multiple facilities
Qualifications : Requirements
10+ years in manufacturing safety leadership (multi-site experience required) Strong OSHA knowledge with hands-on plant floor engagement
Experience in metal fabrication, machining, stamping, or similar environments Ability to influence decisions, drive accountability, and coach across levels
Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or similar field
Certifications preferred : CSP, CIH, CHMM Strength in audits, training, communication, and safety culture development
