[job_card.job_description]Location : Dayton, OH Seeking a full-time academic faculty physician specializing in Infectious Disease. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that blends academic medicine with clinical practice across Dayton and the surrounding region. As a faculty member, you will play an integral role in educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population in a variety of clinical settings. In this role, you will be part of one of the most comprehensive healthcare systems in Southwest Ohio, and Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine. This partnership creates a dynamic environment where patient care, clinical research, and medical education intersect. As a faculty physician, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Health system includes five inpatient hospital campuses, a broad network of urgent care centers, free-standing emergency departments, and specialized services Academic excellence of Wright State University, offers an unparalleled platform for growth and impact in both healthcare and medical education. Participating in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM's academic leadership. Contributing to the division's clinical / patient care, research, and teaching missions. Clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the division's services, including a combination of contributions to the inpatient teaching service, Miami Valley Infection Specialists clinics; working with a large outpatient HIV population, other infectious diseases including but not limited to : Antibiotic therapy supervision, Complicated wound care, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Chronic urinary tract infections, HIV, Lyme Disease Regular outpatient clinical practice. APP collaboration for both Inpatient and Outpatient clinical practice Board Certified / Board Eligible Infectious Disease Ability to hold an Ohio State Medical License US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status MD, DO or MBBS degree Completed Internal Medicine residency Completed Infectious Disease fellowship Federally-issued DEA License
