Maintenance Tech

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facility and Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform refrigeration, plumbing, and heating-related duties, including cutting, threading, assembling, and laying pipes.

• Assist in the purchase, installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning fixtures.

• Diagnose and repair electronic ignition systems for ovens and heaters, and perform welding and metal fabrication tasks.

• Operate various equipment and tools such as saws, drill presses, and hand/power tools to carry out repair and maintenance work.

• Perform skilled building maintenance, including repairs to doors, windows, roofs, and other structural components, as well as installing and maintaining security systems.

What's Needed?

• Experience in skilled trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or welding.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes and safety regulations.

• Ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.

• Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills for maintaining work records and materials inventory.
