Senior Data Analyst

This employee will be responsible for completing any and all assigned projects including but not limited to; learning the necessary skills required, managing work time to meet deadlines, take initiative and architect a solution for any obstacles, and work respectfully with their fellow co-workers. They will be expected to take on more complex projects which may include more advanced skills such as coding in advanced languages, building machine learning algorithms, maintaining advanced department tools, using advanced mathematics to produce valid statistical models, or use any other advanced techniques.

Finally, they will be required to openly share/teach and lead junior analysts in the development of their skills and knowledge for the overall advancement of the department.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Required, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position.

* Two (2) years of experience with:

+ Developing scalable ETL processes by acquiring, integrating and transforming data using Oracle, SQL server or DB2

+ Generating production ready dashboards and reports with Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to meet business intelligence objectives

+ Creating analytical solutions and functions using Linux, SQL, Python, and R for data analysis, statistics and predictive analytics

+ Analyzing business intelligence, perform data mining, design and manage servers/databases supporting applications and reporting

+ Manage knowledge sharing and documentation enabling code version control and continuous integration using github/cloud solutions

+ Leveraging strong data analytics and problem-solving skills to identify key insights, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines from varied sources

+ Orchestrate and manage virtual machines, data storage and pipelines in cloud.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

•3+ years of experience in data analysis or related roles

•Experience in leading projects and teams

•Certifications in data analytics or cloud technologies preferred

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

•Ability to work remotely within a commutable distance

•Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%
