Production Associate

Production Associates flip and align aluminum ingots coming off the conveyor. The Aluminum ingots are around 300°F and need to be flipped every other one for the manipulator to pick them up. Once the stack of aluminum ingots is complete they are weighed and a forklift is used to take them to a cooling area. New employees are placed into the New Employee Progress Plan that highlights performance goals along with possible merit increases within the first year. Responsibilities and Duties Employee must report to work on time and have minimal absenteeism.

• Stack 3 rows of ingot every minute.
• Flip 1 ingot of 15lbs-18lbs every 6 seconds.
• Be able to use ingot manipulator and complete ingot stacks.
• Use forklift to weigh stacks and take them to cooling area.
• Ensure work area cleanliness.
• Complete any task assigned by Supervisor or Management as needed.
• Conduct on the job Maintenance and Quality inspections.
