Requirements to apply:

• Current State of California M.D. License.
• Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Current valid Federal Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
• Current and Valid CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge and basic skills in counseling practices and methods.
• Ability to occasionally travel to meetings and counseling sites.
• Available for all shifts and, when required, able to work evenings and weekends.

Job Overview

The Mental Health Practitioner diagnoses and treats patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating treatment plans. They work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, providing psychotherapeutic methods and medications, and offering professional consultation to primary care providers and therapists.
