Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) night shift position requiring a NJ or compact license and BLS / ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 19 : 00-07 : 30
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • 13-week assignment
  • Patient ratio of 1 : 5-6
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Navy blue scrubs are required
  • Must be able to work the New Year's holiday if scheduled
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

    • Requirements

  • Active NJ or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1.5 years of relevant acute care experience
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
  • Returning employees must have a minimum 1-year break from previous RWJBH employment
