Sasaki is seeking a Campus Planner to join our campus planning group. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the campus studio principals and with multidisciplinary teams on campus master planning and other planning projects. The role requires a positive outlook and the ability to manage multiple planning projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate is a creative professional with experience in higher education and/or institutional planning projects. The role requires the ability to integrate and coordinate the work of planners, data analysts, architects, urban designers, landscape architects, engineers and graphic designers.

Responsibilities:

-Work closely with the campus planning studio principals
-Collaborate with project team members, consultants and clients
-Manage and contribute to the development of project content and deliverables
-Develop detailed planning reports and graphics
-Manage data assessment tasks
-Manage project budgets, contracts and staffing
-Assist with marketing and business development initiatives

Qualifications:

-Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
-Experience in a higher education or institutional context or with higher education clients
-Master’s degree in Planning, Architecture, or related field
-Excellent presentation, verbal, written and graphic communications skills
-Strong organizational and management skills
-Excellent quantitative and analytical skills to support data-informed planning processes and space assessments
-Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
-Capacity for project-related travel
-Ability to think creatively and critically
