As part of our shared services finance team supporting both Shinola and Filson, this role contributes to the strength and integrity of our financial operations. Each team member plays an active part in shaping the success of our brands by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellence in execution.

The Controller is responsible for leading all financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, period-end close activities, tax-related and audit interactions across multiple subsidiaries under the Bedrock Manufacturing platform (including Shinola and Filson). This role directly oversees the Accounting Manager and their team, the AP / AR Manager and specialists, the Cost Accountant, and partners with an external group for Tax. The Controller will collaborate closely with the CFO and with other senior leaders across both brands to ensure accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment of all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and provide actionable insights to guide business decisions.
• Manage all day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (A / P), Accounts Receivable (A / R), Payroll, and month-end / year-end close processes.
• Communicate financial results and performance trends to leadership teams.

Salary range : $175,000 - $200,000 USD
