Job Description

Position: Tutor

Reports to: Principal, Assistant Principal
Terms of Employment: Annual, Part-Time up to 19.5 hours a week

Pay Grade: Hourly, up to $25 an hour depending on licenseFLSA Status: Exempt

Nature of Work

The employee collaborates with teachers to effectively implement instructional strategies and classroom management and assessment techniques to ensure student achievement.

Collaborates at the school level with the principal and assistant principal(s) to improve student achievement.

Education and Experience

Essential Functions/Typical Tasks

• Support and work with principals, teachers, and school improvement teams to gain knowledge of needs and strengths of
• Assist children, aged kindergarten through fifth grade in development of reading and math
• Engage in academic activities with select students in one-on-one or small
• Utilize assessment information before, during, and after instruction to guide instructional
• Assist in analyzing data relative to the impact on activities and student
• Maintain confidentiality of data and
• Support and participate in Professional Learning Communities, as

Physical Requirements
