[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and / or vehicle patrols of the distribution location, including perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and dock areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at entry points and high-activity areas, verifying identification and / or required documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and departure logs. Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and / or assistance per post orders. Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, documenting patrol observations, security-related incidents, and any unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal standards. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
