We are accepting applications for our 2026 Cabana Pool Season! We are looking for passionate, front of house employees to join our team! We have high expectations for knowledge, hard work and attention to detail. Qualities we look for in our teammates include a genuine interest in food and beverage and the desire to create memorable experiences for our guests in a high-volume outside setting.
Server
- Greet guests promptly and warmly.
- Anticipate business levels, and perform accordingly.
- Set the example of excellence in standards to other staff at all times.
- Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions on daily specials and wine selections. Use guest names wherever possible, and be aware if they are celebrating a special occasion.
- Promote the restaurants, wines, tasting room, wine club and know about upcoming events on property.
- Ensure the Front-of-House looks presentable to the guest.
- Describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions to drive sales.
- Provide each item's taste, origin, and preparation methods.
- Performs clean-up and closing duties .
- Attends pre-meal meetings as requested.
- Thanks members and guests; invites them to return.
- Consistently follows local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
- One (1) year of high volume restaurant/bar experience preferred
- Experience working in a resort setting preferred
- Must be of minimum age to prepare and serve alcohol
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch,
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, and risk of electric shock.
