Description :

The position requires working 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week.

The nurse will care for patients on a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities.

This unit focuses on patients with vascular disease diagnoses.

The patient population ranges from young adults to geriatrics.

Admissions may also include medical-surgical and telemetry overflow patients.

The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6.

Candidates must possess experience with blood product administration, colostomy care, and management of various medical conditions.

Strong skills in telemetry monitoring and use of rapid response teams are essential.

The role may involve float assignments to units with equal or lesser acuity.

Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are necessary for effective patient care.
