Role Description : Exhaustive technical knowledge and experience in design & development of GE Proficy MES applications OPC interfaces, SQL data bases and scriptingResponsible for the day-to-day development, enhancement, and implementation of GE Proficy Manufacturing Suite productsShould be able to help team in resolving issues related to development, rollout, enhancementsShould be able to do effective communication with other teams, customers, and third-party vendorsShould have been part of MES deployment (for entire SDLC) which includes experience in planning, designing, architecting, configuring, developing, testing, implementation, integration with other applications, deployment, multi-site roll out, Support, etc.

Experience (Years) : 8-10

Essential Skills :

GE MES Suite - Proficy Plant Application, Historian, IGS, Kepware,SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), .NET scripting, Communication Skill

Functional

• Good understanding of Battery Manufacturing processes
• Good understanding of MESA, ISA95, etc.
• Good understanding of the manufacturing processes used in discrete industry and relevant IT systems.
• Exposure to functions such as Inventory, Quality, Order Management, Plant Performance, etc.
• Experience in understanding Business and Automobile specific KPI's.Technical
• Experience in Supporting, configuring & deploying GE Proficy MES suite for Automobile Industries
• Experience on any of the historians & DB's like SQL, etc.General
• Experience in managing MES Implementations, Global Roll out.
• Ability to work with cross functional and cross-cultural teams successfully.

Desirable Skills :

Understanding of PLC, SCADA Systems, GE Cimplicity Tracker
