As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Patrols in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will contribute to a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $21.25 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at financial institution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor movement within the location.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and communicate promptly with Allied Universal management regarding any security-related matters or incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
