Here's what you'd do : -As a Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems.-Your contributions will be crucial to the program's success and innovation.-Design, develop, and integrate ground-based tracking and mission systems for space operations.-Translate high-level system requirements into detailed architectures, interfaces, and designs.-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support system validation, deployment, and sustainment.-Contribute to the development of cloud-based and microservice-oriented system solutions.

Here's what you'll need : -Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics-Minimum of 2 years of experience with systems design, integration, and validation.-Minimum of 2 years of experience with automation tools (, Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and cloud platforms

AWS, Azure, GCP). -Minimum of 2 years of experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw.

Here's what sets you apart from other candidates : -Master's Degree with 6 months of experience-Agile experience.-Ground system design or scheduling knowledge.-Tracking mission design knowledge.-Satellite communications knowledge.-Ground to satellite communication knowledge.-Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).-Familiarity with operating systems (, Linux, Windows).-Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.-Proficiency in requirements analysis and system architecture design.-Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.-Knowledge of infrastructure as code (, Terraform, CloudFormation).-Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.-Familiarity with compliance standards (, NIST, ISO 27001).-Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.-Proficient in documenting system designs, configurations, and procedures.-Proficiency in systems engineering, decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and design behavior.-Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling.-Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment.-Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications.-Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
