MATCH - LPN / LVN Novice Nurse

The Novice Nurse Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (< 12 months of experience) is responsible for providing and documenting skilled nursing care in accordance with care developed for each individual patient in accordance with physician's orders when applicable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient / client care and / or contracted services
• Demonstrates on each assignment the provision of skilled nursing care rendered in accordance with prescribed orders
• Identifies and documents changes in patient's both physiologic and psychosocial condition
• Notifies Director / Supervisor if applicable on the following;

o Physician notification to obtain necessary orders for intervention(s) per state regulations

o Changes in patient / client condition

o Nurse Practice Act

o Standards of Nursing Practice

o Standards of Patient Care

o Standards of Accrediting Body (ACHC, Joint Commission, etc.)

o State and Local Laws

o Patient Bill of Rights

o Maxim Healthcare, Nursing, and Client's Hospital Policies

o Performs other duties as assigned
