Responsibilities:
- Take vitals, room, adjust medication list.
- Work on referral in/out. Work on Prior Authorization (PA); work on Rx PA.
- Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments.
- Check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients.
- Check-out patients, assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services.
- Administrative tasks in medical office.
It is a great opportunity for those MA that prefer office administration over clinical tasks such as giving shots, reading EKG, or assisting in surgery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST graduated from a Medical Assisting school.
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
- Good with computer.
- Pleasant personality and Quick learner.
- Enjoy working with professionals in a fast paced office environment.
