About the Role:

Heartland School of Omaha is a Special Education Service Provider that contracts with the surrounding Districts to support their Special Education Students with social and emotional needs.

Our team is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Special Education Teacher to design and implement individualized instruction for students with diverse learning needs. You will manage IEP's, collaborate with families, and foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

- Average case load is 12 students.

- Adapt lesson plans to meet various learning styles and abilities.

- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.

- Collaborate with parents, specialists, and school staff.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field or willingness to obtain a degree in Special

Education.

- Valid State Teaching Certification in Special Education.

- Strong communication and behavioral management skills.
