Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Utilize evidence-based approaches to boost patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on techniques that facilitate ongoing recuperation and independence at home.
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine therapy approaches as necessary, keeping patients engaged in their recovery journey.

Education

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
