Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Grand Rapids, Michigan location. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your primary focus will be on managing stock levels, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies to maintain optimal warehouse operations. This position is key to our logistics efficiency, ensuring that we have the right products available when and where they are needed. You will utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements, perform cycle counts, and generate reports. A proactive approach to identifying potential inventory issues and implementing corrective actions is essential. You will collaborate with various departments, including receiving and shipping, to ensure seamless inventory control. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to accuracy. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all company policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe Lifting techniques. Responsibilities :

• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS.
• Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
• Assist in optimizing warehouse layout for better inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations.
• Properly execute all required Lifting tasks.
