Here's the deal: We're hiring a highly experienced, dependable, and client-focused Tax Preparer to join our clients' team on a year-round basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who not only prepares accurate returns but is also excited to teach, review, and contribute to the growth of the firm.

This is what it takes to work for us.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in tax preparation
• Experience with both individual (1040) and business (1120/1065) returns
• Willingness to teach and train junior staff
• Proven ability to review and verify other preparers' work
• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law and filing procedures
• Proficient with Drake Tax Software or similar
• Active PTIN and CTEC registration (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns (Federal and State)
• Review all tax returns prepared by other team members for accuracy and compliance
• Identify deductions, credits, and tax-saving strategies
• Ensure all client documents are complete and accurate
• E-file returns and manage follow-ups
• Collaborate with the CPA and administrative team for a seamless workflow
