Dental Assistant – Full Time
Location : Bridgeport Smiles, Chicago, IL
Bridgeport Smiles is a trusted dental practice dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. Our friendly, compassionate team creates a welcoming environment for every patient, and we’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join us full-time!
What You’ll Do :
- Welcome and escort patients to the operatory
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
- Take digital X-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
- Review health histories and update charts
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Track lab cases and manage supply inventory
- Set up trays and instruments for scheduled procedures
- Support front office tasks as needed
- Ensure preventive maintenance of dental equipment
- Communicate with the Lead Assistant and Office Manager regarding supplies
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
