Position Summary:
Ochsner Lafayette General is seeking experienced and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for full-time, permanent employment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care across diverse clinical settings within our facility. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered anesthesia services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients of all ages for a variety of surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout procedures.
• Manage pain control and sedation techniques aligned with best practices and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless perioperative care.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and clinical process improvements.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all anesthesia-related activities.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program with current certification as a CRNA by the NBRC.
• Valid Louisiana state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a CRNA.
• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience preferred.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
