The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Capture Manager / Proposal Writer to join our growing team. In this dual-focused role, you will be an integral piece of our efforts to pursue and win contracts in the federal, state, local, education (SLED), and private sectors. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our business growth while working with cutting-edge IT solutions across our contract vehicles, including Seaport-NxG, GSA MAS, DIR, and other procurement pathways.

What You'll Do

Capture Management (50%)

Participate as an integral member of our capture team, utilizing GovSignals and other market intelligence tools to maximize impact and win rates

Lead strategic opportunity identification and qualification processes

Develop comprehensive capture plans and winning strategies that position Centex Technologies for success

Conduct competitive analysis and develop discriminator messaging

Build and nurture relationships with partners, potential clients, and teaming partners

Coordinate solution development with technical teams to align with client needs

Track and analyze capture metrics to continuously improve win rates

Support pipeline development and opportunity forecasting

Proposal Development (50%)

Drive proposal excellence through leadership and process improvement

Orchestrate end-to-end proposal development, from kickoff to submission

Craft compelling executive summaries and proposal narratives that clearly articulate our value proposition

Coordinate with subject matter experts to effectively articulate technical solutions

Ensure 100% compliance with RFP requirements through rigorous review processes

Collaborate with designers to create visually impactful proposals that enhance messaging

Develop proposal templates, content libraries, and reusable assets

Lead color team reviews and quality control processes

Manage proposal timelines and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements

What You'll Bring

3+ years of experience in capture management and / or proposal writing, preferably in IT services

Proven track record of winning government and private sector contracts

Strong understanding of federal, state, and local procurement processes

Experience with GovSignals or similar opportunity tracking / pipeline management tools

Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or related field preferred

Experience in IT services industry, particularly cybersecurity, digital transformation, or cloud services

APMP certification a plus

Knowledge of federal contracting vehicles, including SBA 8(a), GSA MAS, and Seaport-NxG
