Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
  • Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C / C , Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal / external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience in an problem-solving role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
  • Experience implementing web or mobile operating system authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical decisions with both internal and external stakeholders.

    As a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer, you will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative solutions and act as a partner and consultant. You will also build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects. You will be focused on delivering customer care.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,500-$140,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

    Responsibilities

  • Analyze and scope out technical solutions needed for the roll out of life-cycle events (e.g. launch, deprecation, migration) for Google's first-party or third-party authentication and authorization solutions such as Sign-in With Google and OAuth. Partner with teams to manage rollouts.
  • Business Engineering activities with partners (e.g. pitch, partner technical objection handling, implementation troubleshooting, guides).
  • Identify technical gaps, recognize patterns, and surface opportunities for solution reuse or new innovations to help.
  • Author technical integration documentation and communications to developers / partners.
  • Implement tools or dashboards to track and improve operational efficiency. Develop subject matter expertise in the Identity space spaces to provide advice and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders
