Duties of this job include planning and delivering instruction that introduces and develops new concepts and skills to students in all general subject areas (English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies), evaluating and observing students’ progress, performance, and behavior, grading assignments and offering timely feedback to students and parents, creating and maintaining an engaging and safe learning environment, managing classroom materials and resources, and communicating with parents and other staff to discuss student’s needs and achievements.
