The Rad Tech (X-Ray) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.
Qualifications
- Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment
- Certified by the state of South Carolina to work imaging
- Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured
- Able to communicate effectively
- Able to perform well independently
- Able to follow detailed instructions
Skills Needed - Highly self-motivated
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current BLS
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved
- Have met requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Lifting Requirements: Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without restrictions.
