Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner will work within the Urology practice on all aspects of patient care including evaluation, diagnosis and education. The candidate must be able to work independently in a clinical setting. Must be willing to travel to off sites.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to :

• Provides treatment and patient care under the supervision of physician
• Manages patient flow effectively and efficiently
• Triages patient calls and accurately assesses patient needs. Accurately documents all correspondence with patient
• Communicates effectively and efficiently with patients and their families
• Completes disability paperwork in a manner consistent with office procedures
• Assist in the care and management of inpatients under the supervision of physician
• Patient assessment in ER and for hospital admission
