Job Overview

Crosby Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive bids for a wide range of civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the estimating process for site development and underground utility scopes, including demolition, grading, earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and masonry. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents for complete scope review
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for utilities, paving, concrete, and masonry
• Organize bid files, documentation, and historical data
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare detailed estimates using Excel or software like PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or HCSS
• Attend pre-bid job walks and internal team reviews
• Draft scope sheets, RFIs, and bid clarifications
• Build and maintain subcontractor and supplier databases
• Ensure timely submission of complete and accurate bid packages
• Coordinate closely with field and project management teams
